H. Cobb Alexander, M.D.
Dr. Alexander is a Board Certified orthopaedic surgeon
specializing in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery.
A graduate of Washington and Lee University in Virginia,
he received his M.D. from Vanderbilt University. In 1987,
he completed his orthopaedic residency at the Greenville
Hospital System in Greenville, South Carolina. In 1988,
he completed a combined fellowship in joint replacement
surgery and sports medicine, the former at New England Baptist
Hospital and the latter at Children's Hospital, both in
Boston. Dr. Alexander was one of the founding physicians
for the Joint Center at Huntsville Hospital East.
